Lovgren Marketing Group Wins Two Paper Anvil Awards |
|
Lovgren Marketing Group was awarded two Paper Anvil awards presented by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Nebraska chapter at its annual awards gala on December 9, 2010, including an Award of Excellence. Lovgren Marketing Group earned an Award of Excellence, the highest recognition, for the “Omaha Royals Unveiling of Ballpark Model” in the category of News Conference/Publicity Stunt. The entries were judged by professionals from the Colorado chapter of PRSA. The agency was also awarded a Paper Anvil Award of Merit in the category of Government/Public Affairs Programs for its work on the CSO! program. Lovgren Marketing Group has been retained by the City of Omaha for the past three years, serving as its public facilitator for the Clean Solutions for Omaha program, an unfunded federal mandate to reduce the number of sewer overflows into the cities’ rivers and streams. Lovgren is the public relations agency for Omaha’s Triple-A Baseball team, formerly called the Omaha Royals. The unveiling of the ballpark model attracted the local four television network-affiliated stations and three reporters from the Omaha World-Herald in addition to suburban newspapers and alternative weekly papers. The Paper Anvil awards are given annually to honor Nebraska’s public relations professionals for their work.
