Lovgren Marketing Group President and Founder will be among those inducted into the Omaha Business Hall of Fame. Linda Lovgren, APR will receive her honor along with former mayor Michael G. Fahey, publisher Robert Hoig, two husband-wife teams – Ree and Jun Kaneko, creators of the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts and Lori and Paul Hogan, founders of Home Instead Senior Care and Pamida discount-store chain founder D.J. Witherspoon.
Lovgren founded the Lovgren Marketing Group more than 30 years ago and became one of the city’s top entrepreneurs. She served as chairwoman of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce – the only woman to hold that post - during the time the city took on its new icon: O!
Lovgren chairs the Nebraska Methodist College Board of Directors and sits on the boards of Nebraska State Fair, the Partnership for Our Kids and is the honorary chair of ArtVenture, an event to benefit Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska.
Lovgren Marketing Group works with a variety of clients including the Omaha Storm Chasers, the City of Omaha, and several engineering firms working on the City’s sewer separation project among others.
The achievements of Lovgren and the other honorees will be showcased in the Hall of Fame at the Durham Museum and will be recognized during the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s annual gala April 24 at the Holland Performing Arts Center.
